Teaching

Instructor for Biostatistics (SDS328/M)

Undergraduate course, The University of Texas at Austin, Department of Statistics and Data Science, 2018

I taught a semester-long course in Biostatistics to approximately 90 undergraduate students. Responsibilities included developing and refining course materials, managing 1 graduate TA and 3 undergraduate TAs, and lecturing 3 semester-hours per-week.

Introduction to Python Programming and Data Science

Boot-camp, Northwestern University, The Graduate School, 2015

I was a founder, co-creator, and co-instructor for what would eventually become a 7 day boot-camp (and later a full-length course) for incoming graduate students at Northwestern University. Drawing on programs from across the university, we taught the fundamentals of Python programming with a focus on data science and statistics. I helped to design and contribute materials and served as an instructor for the course for several iterations spanning from 2015-2017. The course materials are freely available on github
